Leadership for Safety Excellence
Course Length: Two consecutive days of training (16 hours)
Prerequisites: None

This program enables managers and supervisors to build health and safety into their everyday planning and make them a daily part of their supervisory function. Communication skills are emphasized and practiced in this course.

Safety Auditor Training
Course Length: Two days of training (16 hours)
Prerequisites: Principles of Safety Management

Audits assess the current state of an organization’s safety program and identify specific areas of improvement. They also support companies who believe they are ready to be independently audited to achieve COR™ Certification.
Further Information on Safety Auditor Training Participants will learn the simplicity of the audit and how to use standardized forms. Also, they will gain experience working with the three verification techniques to assist in the conclusion: documentation, observation and interviews.

Train the Trainer: WHMIS 2015
Course Length: One day of training (8 hours) A certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems 2015 (WHMIS 2015) is a globally harmonized communication system dealing with controlled products and includes three main components: labels, safety data sheets (SDS) and worker education. WHMIS 2015 provides employers and workers with information about the controlled products they work with on the job.
Further Information on Train the Trainer: WHMIS Train the Trainer: WHMIS teaches participants about WHMIS legislation requirements and provides guidelines for developing a site-specific training program for their company. Upon successfully completing both parts of the Train the Trainer program, students will be qualified to conduct a generic WHMIS training program and will have the knowledge to develop a basic site-specific program. Participants will earn a WHMIS certificate of training and will receive credit toward COR™ or SECOR™ Certificate program requirements.
